This deeply nourishing, restorative practice uses gentle yoga poses that create spine balance and lengthening. This series of postures helps the body open and release long standing tensions in a safe and supported way. Through the use of guided imagery and breathing exercises (known in yoga terms as “pranayama”), you will enter into a state of intentional rest.
The intention is the reason this practice is so effective for rejuvenating the body and mind.
We rarely access this state of deep rest because even when we are “resting” in our day to day lives, like sleeping or laying down, we often are not intentional about resting and the sleep or nap is tainted by the physical and mental tensions of the day. Being guided into a state of deep restoration is a completely different experience, and is the key to living in a healthy, grounded and rested body.
